My communication style

My hope is to find a balance of encouragement and challenge. I tend to provide clients with lots of verbal affirmation during treatment while also challenging unhelpful patterns and behaviors through curious question asking.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was drawn to becoming a provider because I believe in the healing power of relational connection with others. It is an honor to witness and walk alongside people who are courageous to start the journey of therapy.

My goals for you

During treatment, goal setting will be a very collaborative process. First, I want to learn about the things clients wish to work on in therapy. Then, together we discuss how to make goals challenging, yet reachable.

Our first session

In our first session together, I hope you can start to feel listened to and learned about. Typically, I spend most of the first session asking lots of questions about your history, what's been working and not working, and hopes in starting therapy.
