My communication style

I like to start by getting to know you. It's important to feel a connection to the person you're opening up to. Building that trust takes time, and that's okay. I've been told I have a soft-spoken voice, so chatting with me has felt calming for some.

My journey to mental healthcare

I've always been a helper at heart. I became a therapist after experiencing personal trauma and abuse in my own life. I was a child of the foster care system and a survivor myself. I know what it's like to need to talk but face barriers. There's no judgment, and I learn from every person I work with.

My goals for you

I like to work with the client to get to know what it is that they want out of therapy. It is not so much about the therapist but about what the client wants to get out of the services they are seeking. My goal is just to hold the flashlight and help guide the clients to where they want to be in life.

Our first session

We'll go through the intake process and discuss what therapy will be like and what to expect. I hope it will feel like an inviting time to share what's been concerning you and what drove you to seek therapy. The session will be relaxing, calm, and self-guided at your own pace.
