My communication style

It is a priority for me to maintain open and non-judgmental communication. I provide a warm and empathetic demeanor while actively listening to clients as they express emotions, reflect, and process. I will remain calm and supportive in with challenging topics and situations.

My journey to mental healthcare

What influenced me to become a provider has been my lived experience as well as listening to the experiences of others. Through the adversities I have faced, I was able to receive support from providers like myself that helped me to become the person I am. I believe being the change you want to see is important.

My goals for you

I believe each person is the master of their own fate. With this, I assist clients in understanding more about their wants and needs while transforming those wants and needs into achievable goals. As the client progresses, the goals of therapy remain fluid to allow the client the autonomy to gain a new perspective.

Our first session

During our first session, we take time to build rapport and lay a strong foundation for the therapeutic relationship. I will ask questions about what brought you to therapy, what you hope to address, and past experiences. In turn, this information will help us create an individualized plan for your therapeutic journey.
