Thank you for taking a look at my profile. I am so fortunate to work as a mental health professional. I love to listen to people's "stories" and work together to address life's challenges and changes.

My focus

I have spent working with Veterans and the military culture. There is a special place in my heart for our nation's heroes. If you are dealing with PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, substance abuse... I would like to listen and to help.

My approach

I remember on the first day of my first social work class being told to "meet the client where they are," and that is at the foundation of my practice. I will work with empathy and compassion to share my various tools and techniques to help you address issues and help you grow and gain awareness. I will strive to support you in any way I can.

My communication style

When working with me, my goal is to provide you with a safe, non-judgmental space where you can share and reflect on your experiences. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and person-centered therapy.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always been fascinated by the human mind, what makes us all so different. At the same time, and more importantly, I am compelled by what makes us alike, the fundamental qualities, hopes, and dreams that we all share. I chose to enter this field later in life, and I feel like I have a wealth of wisdom that comes from experience.

In our first session, I'll provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to share your story. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your goals, and begin to identify tools and approaches that feel right for you. My aim is to meet you where you are and start building a path forward together.
