My communication style

I provide a space for my clients where they feel heard and the ultimate expert of their own life, outside of my credentials, and encouragement. It is important for the individuals I work with to feel as if they are collaborating with me in sessions to meet their goals in the most essential ways.

My journey to mental healthcare

What attracted me to being a therapist is never felt like the therapist I saw as a teenager fully understood how to help me. I wanted to understand why this was the case and also provide others the opportunity to feel heard in ways I did not.

My goals for you

I often ask clients what is bringing them to sessions and then work with the client to establish mutually understood goals moving forward. Adjustments can be made throughout treatment.

Our first session

I often take this time to fully get to know my clients and understand what is bringing them to treatment at the time. I give them the opportunity to ask questions and ensure they feel confident moving forward.
