My name is Quanetta Jefferson and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina. I work with children, adolescents, teens, and young adults. I specialize in anxiety, behavioral concerns, ADHD, depression, and self-esteem issues.
My approach
As a therapist, I am aware that counseling does not look the same for everyone. I strive to utilize diverse modalities and build strong rapport with every client. I most frequently utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength Based Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and art and play therapy techniques.
My focus
I have years of experience working with children, adolescents, teens, and young adults. I specialize in treating symptoms associated with stress, anxiety, behavioral concerns, ADHD, and self-esteem issues. My goal is to help clients gain confidence in their abilities to navigate through challenging situations in life.
My communication style
My communication style is calm and personable. I want my clients to feel comfortable and open as they participate in their sessions.
My journey to mental healthcare
I decided to have a career as a therapist because I have always enjoyed helping others. Being a therapist, I am able to help others and watch them flourish into better versions of themselves.
My goals for you
When approaching goal setting, I want my clients to feel open and comfortable. I believe that a strong rapport drives progress. I approach goal setting as a collaboration between the client and myself. I believe that as long as one is ready to welcome change, change is obtainable.
