I take an individualized approach to clients, listening to and understanding your situation not only as an individual, but through understanding your environment. I then move into a problem-solving approach. We are all unique; therefore, I do not take a one-size-fits-all approach. I utilize humor, connection, and education to advocate for change.

I work with people of all ages, focusing on depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and trauma. I use therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I am trained in EMDR and approach each client with compassion and partnership.

I’m a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW, #I.0005982) with experience supporting adults and teens in child welfare, senior care, and educational advocacy. I’m married with three adult children, one with a cognitive disability. Outside work, I enjoy family, friends, travel, reading, cards, and my two dogs.
