Frequently Asked Questions
For most requests, we work with Datavant, a secure and trusted healthcare data platform, to process your records safely and efficiently. If a release authorization form is required, you’ll be asked to complete one to confirm your identity, designate the recipient, and specify which records should be disclosed. Datavant will review the form for completeness and validity. Once approved, they’ll retrieve the records and deliver them securely via encrypted email, fax, or mail. Your information is handled in compliance with healthcare privacy standards throughout the process.
We strive to process medical record requests as quickly as possible. Most requests are fulfilled within several business days, though some may take longer depending on the nature of the request.
