Good news – Kaiser Permanente members typically pay $0 out-of-pocket!*
However, before we can schedule you with one of the providers in Rula’s network, Kaiser Permanente requires that you receive a referral.

If you still need a referral:

• To make an appointment, call Kaiser Permanente between Monday and Friday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

  • Southern California: 1-833-KP-WITH-U or 1-833-579-4848 (TTY 711)

  • Hawaii: 808-432-7600 (Oahu) or 1-888-945-7600 (Neighbor Islands)

• Let the Kaiser phone agent know that you would like to schedule an appointment through Rula (formerly known as Path Mental Health)

• Once these steps are complete, you should expect to receive an email and SMS from Rula with your referral ID and a personalized scheduling link within 1-5 days. You will use this unique link to book your initial appointment.

If you already requested a referral:

• If you previously requested a referral through Kaiser Permanente, you should have received an email and SMS from Rula (formerly Path Mental Health) with your referral ID and a personalized scheduling link.

• Please expect your personalized scheduling link to arrive 1-5 days after requesting a referral. If you’re having trouble locating the email, make sure to check your spam filters.
